FEATURED ARTIST (February/March 2007): Gerry Jensen
Gerry Jensen - I have
always been drawn to painting and drawing, exploring all types of
mediums and techniques. In my earlier days, I
mainly worked in oils and pastels. Being a
fairly textural painter I shied away from watercolour thinking it was
too difficult to paint with and achieve the effects that I wanted.
However, deciding to face the challenge,
I now have an absorbing passion for this most intriguing medium.

FEATURED ARTIST (November 2006): Charlene
Barlow
Charlene Barlow -
Let me begin by telling you that I
have loved to draw and paint since I was a little girl. I can remember
drawing at the kitchen table and always coloring with crayons. I
even went so far as to paint my baby sister from head to toe with my
Mom's favorite bright red lipstick. My Mom was devastated, but I
was very proud of my art work.
