Artist Brushstrokes, LLC. was established in January
2005. The founder of Artist Brushstrokes identified a need within the
art industry to competitively provide one of the largest selections of premium
quality, fine artist brushes and related products under one domain.
Our founder was introduced into the brush
manufacturing industry at a very early age. His family managed the
overseas manufacturing facility for Robert Simmons, Inc. (now Daler-Rowney)
for about 15 years. They later
established a joint venture with a German partner and manufactured brushes
for sale and distribution throughout Europe. Management of the
manufacturing facility was given to a local business partner, and his
parents
returned to the United States to retire.
During this period our founder worked side-by-side
with his parents and learned about: the art of brush making, general
management, accounting, inventory control, packaging, shipping,
distribution, and most importantly what it took to keep customers loyal.
These skills have certainly prepared him to lead artistbrushstrokes.com to
becoming a leading premium art supply company in the United States.
